NSF_DbCache_MaxEntries

Determines the number of databases that a server can hold in its database cache at one time

Determines the number of databases that a server can hold in its database cache at one time, where n is the number of databases.
Increasing the database cache size can improve system performance but requires additional memory. The minimum number of databases allowed in the cache at one time is 25; the maximum is approximately 2000, depending on the server platform.

If this setting is omitted, the number of databases that the server can hold in its cache at one time is either 25, or the NSF_Buffer_Pool_Size value divided by 300K (whichever is greater).
