Specifies the port used for intracluster network traffic. The value should be a port name -- for example, TCP -- as specified in the Ports tab of the Server document. NOTE: The use of the notes.ini parameter Server_Cluster_Default_Port will prevent cluster replication from failing over to a secondary port.This directs cluster communications between the servers through TCP/IP.
Even if your network uses multiple protocols, you should configure all servers in a single cluster to support the same set of network protocols. This ensures that clients can connect to any server in the cluster in the event of failover or for workload balancing. You should specify the TCP/IP
port of the server on the Server_Cluster_Default_Port setting in the notes.ini file of all servers that belong to a cluster.
