Problem

The Client Subscription functionality is enabled and disabled via the 'Check Subscriptions' checkbox found on the Basics tab of the User Preferences. Is this setting controlled via a Notes.ini parameter?

Solution

The Check Subscriptions setting is written to the Notes.ini via the parameter $HeadlineDisableHeadlines. A value of 0 coincides with subscriptions being enabled, and a value of 1 means subscriptions are disabled. For example: $HeadlineDisableHeadlines=0 This parameter does not affect the Domino server subscription functionality.
