If you are a BES Admin and have problems to push wireless some software (e.g. the IBM Sametime client) to your users this short tip may help you (this can happen at the moment when your user use a BlackBerry Storm).

At first open the BlackBerry Manager (not the Desktop manager), go to BlackBerry Domain -> Software Configuration Status (on the right side, its a tab). In the list check for the following line:

GetHHCodePackages reported: HHCM_DEVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED. Upgrade your copy of device.xml

If you see it (and the date is from today or yesterday, ...) then download the latestdevice.xml and vendor.xml from the RIM Website:

https://www.blackberry.com/Desktop/Download/XML/Device.xml

https://www.blackberry.com/Desktop/Download/XML/Vendor.xml

Copy these files to the following folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

For more information see "How to update the device.xml file ".
