Detailed information for the notes.ini Keyword:
IDVault_Max_Auth_Failure_Cache_Size
Short Description: Controls the max authentification failure cache.
Description:
This entry controls how many entries the bad password cache (cleaned daily) can hold. A bad password cache entry is made only when a bad password is entered. If we hit the size from this entry, an error is entered into the log suggesting that too many people have entered bad passwords and the administrator should check for an attack in the log.
It can be used if a customer uses a single vault for a very large number of ID files and/or where people often legitimately forget their passwords.
